Sydney Dessert Co, known for its elaborate wedding cakes, has ceased trading and entered voluntary liquidation.
Director Vanessa Kefalouros said the Sans Souci-based company was “winding down operations”, according to a director’s report.
The report states the company owes $38,600 to the Australian Taxation Office and $3,599 in superannuation to Kefalouros.
Christopher Darin of insolvency firm Worrells was appointed liquidator in August.
Sydney Dessert Co, which was registered in July 2019, has not yet announced its closure on its social media accounts. Its Instagram page, which has more than 45,000 followers, continues to display its wedding cake designs.
