Stoke Mill Restaurant Ltd, based in Stoke Holy Cross, south of Norwich, appointed liquidators this week blaming “astronomical costs” facing the hospitality industry.
The company is controlled by chef patron Andrew Rudd and Ludovico ‘Ludo’ Iaccarino, whose father Rio founded the venue in 1975.

Mr Iaccarino said they took the “regrettable decision” to put the company into liquidation on Monday, owing creditors more than £389,000, according to its statement of affairs, published on Companies House.
He said the restaurant remains open, operating under a new company called Stoke Restaurants Ltd, in which Mr Iaccarino is the sole director.
