A historic hotel has reassured guests that it will remain open despite its operating company entering liquidation.
The George Hotel in Dereham has issued a statement after it was announced that Old England Ltd, the company that operated the 18th-century hotel, went into liquidation owing more than £264,000 to HMRC.
The company is controlled by Paul Hepworth, who runs the venue with his wife Alyson, and appointed liquidators at the end of last month.
The hotel, bar and restaurant, on Swaffham Road in Dereham town centre, has now issued a statement.
