The chief executive of women’s fashion retailer Cue Clothing Co has resigned after less than 18 months in the role, while a sale process for the business has yet to secure a buyer, raising questions over the future of the nearly 60-year-old company.
British distressed assets investor Hilco Capital put Cue and its sister brand Veronika Maine up for sale in August after it acquired the retailer from the founding Levis family last year for an undisclosed amount.
