Iconic Australian fashion brand Cue Clothing has entered into receivership after more than 60 years in business.
On Tuesday, it was announced the business had entered into voluntary administration, with FTI Consulting being appointed as the receivers and managers, effective September 15.
Duncan Clubb and Shaun Mckinnon from BDO were appointed as voluntary administrators by Cue’s director on Tuesday.
A Hilco Capital spokesperson said they made a decision to appoint receivers and managers to Cue and Veronika Maine after a difficult period.
“It is a disappointing outcome, but (it is) the only available course of action given the circumstances,” a spokesman said.
