Claiming that the name of Trump ‘saves’ a place from bankruptcy is apparently a stretch. The national debt at $40 Trillion and $6/gallon diesel fuel might be a mitigating factor as Trump lawyers back off their more absurd demands related to the naming, renaming, and desecrating the Kennedy Center. As The Rules of Acquisition still state: “It never hurts to suck up to the boss”.
What did happen to the millions of dollars not only allocated by Congress, but other funds available prior to the renaming but before Trump installed “his” people on the Center board? Lawfare might not actually work.
