Australian table grape producer and exporter The Grape House Group has entered liquidation with reported debts of A$43.6mn, according to Australian media reports.
The business, based near the Murray River in Euston, New South Wales, has been owned by the Costa family for two generations and specialises in growing, packing and exporting table grapes to international markets.
According to Inside FMCG, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission published a liquidation notice covering The Grape House Group and other associated companies.
Company members reportedly voted in favour of liquidation on 2 October, with Hamish MacKinnon and Nicholas Giasoumi appointed joint liquidators.
