Armstrong Watson confirmed it was appointed joint liquidator of Genwise Ltd on October 6.
The insolvency firm said it is now gathering information about the company’s assets, liabilities and affairs.
Stephen McCullough, partner and head of business development and marketing at Armstrong Watson, said the liquidation remained at an early stage.
He said: “As the liquidation is at an early stage, we are currently gathering information regarding the company’s assets, liabilities and affairs.”
He added that it would be inappropriate to comment in detail on the circumstances leading to the liquidation, the company’s financial position or the likely outcome for creditors until that work had progressed.
