The Woodman Old Catton Ltd appointed liquidators at the end of last month, owing creditors £60,000.

A spokesman for the company, which is controlled by Snug Pubs & Inns Ltd, owned by Stephen Alden and Daniel Pratt, said it operated the pub for around 10 months from May 2024.
He said it was operating under a tenancy at will with Stonegate, the UK’s largest pub group, which ended around 18 months ago “due to difficult trading conditions”.
