The chase for Sanjeev Gupta’s millions has finally begun.
The one-time billionaire and so-called saviour of steel has left creditors in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore and across Europe owed about $6 billion. But no one has yet sought to go after his assets by asking a court to find him personally liable for his conduct.
