Bride-to-be Ebony Kurtek was over the moon when she got engaged to her fiancé, Tomislav Rubelj, 27, last October. With their wedding date set for next May, planning was well under way.
That is until retail giant David Jones collapsed into voluntary administration, throwing her dream gift registry into absolute chaos.

“This David Jones stuff is kind of a bit of a freak-out,” Kurtek, 24, told nine.com.au after news of the company’s demise broke.
Kurtek chose MyRegistry to create her wedding gift registry rather than setting it up directly with David Jones, which allows brides to choose items from multiple retailers.
