Edinburgh-based Filming Scotland has been placed into liquidation following a general meeting where company members decided it should be wound up voluntarily.

It does not impact the firm’s other operations, and it said it has a growth strategy in place ahead of the rebrand.
The company works with many major brands including Starz and Sony Studios’ Outlander, Chanel, Glenfiddich and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
It is described as a “hands-on and customised service production in Scotland across commercials, stills and branded content creation”.
