An Australian retailer renowned for selling US sports merchandise has entered voluntary administration.
Stateside Sports will keep its doors open while administrators figure out what to do with the chain’s 31 stores.
Advisory firm DVT Mcleods was appointed voluntary administrator on May 22.
The sports retailer was established in 2017 and garnered a large following thanks to its sale of American sports merchandise from the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (NLB).
It stocked sought-after brands like Nike, Jordan, New Era and Mitchell & Ness. It also sold Aussie products, including retro NRL jerseys.
