An award-winning Asian fusion restaurant in Norwich has entered liquidation – but will remain open, with its chefs taking over the popular burger joint.
The directors of Oishii Street Kitchen, in Distillery Square, off Dereham Road, have put the company into liquidation due to rising costs, blaming “unfair pressure” on the hospitality industry.
Its head chef, Danielle Wadsworth, and sous chef, Abigail Turner-Evans, will take over the running of the restaurant, with the company’s existing four directors retaining ownership of the Oishii brand name.
