An award-winning family-run microbrewery is being liquidated after trading since 2013. Big Hand Brewing Company Ltd. trades out of Redwither Business Park in Wrexham, north Wales, where it produces cask conditioned ales and bottled beers.
Co-founded by Dave Shaw, the brewery continued to operate from a 10-barrel plant on the outskirts of Wrexham after his death in 2022, according to the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). It hailed Big Hand Brewing Company for offering a broad selection of beers, including “experimental” ales available across west Cheshire and north Wales.
