Nigel Dinneen got more than £400k in credit from victims even though he was bankrupt
A bankrupt builder who illegally obtained more than £400,000 for home improvement projects has been locked up.
Nigel Dinneen secured advance payments from five victims in the Midlands without telling them that he had been declared bankrupt, as he was legally required to do.
The 72-year-old’s victims included a dad whose children had to sleep on the floor with no back doors or windows and a healthcare worker on the Covid frontline.
Dinneen, of Duesbury Court, Mickleover, Derby, was jailed for 12 months at Derby Crown Court on Thursday, January 15.
