Ben Adams Architects has been placed into liquidation with all 16 staff losing their jobs.
The Southwark-based practice owed nearly £1.6m at the time of its collapse, according to a statement of affairs published on 31 March.
The funds owed include more than £850,000 to lenders, £230,000 to employees, £390,000 to its landlord and almost £100,000 to trade creditors.
Founded by Ben Adams in 2010, the practice employed 45 staff as recently as 2020 but its headcount had dropped to 32 in 2024 and fell sharply to 18 last year.
Christine Bartlett and Heath Sinclair of Richard Long & Co have been appointed joint liquidators of the company.
