Amelie at Ben’s Yard, in Stuntney, Ely, confirmed it had closed after “much careful consideration and with great sadness” as it enters voluntary liquidation.
The team behind the popular restaurant said it experienced a “sustained period of challenging economic conditions.”
A spokesperson added it was now “no longer viable for the business to continue operating.”
Last year, the restaurant was awarded two AA Rosettes, named Little Gem in the Good Food Guide and Restaurant Regional Winner in the Muddy Stilettos Awards.
It was also a finalist in two Velvet Food and Frink Awards – restaurant category in, Cambridge, and for its pop up at Wyken, in Suffolk.
