Arto Chemicals Ltd, a supplier of plastic polymers and synthetic rubber, was first set up in August 1972 and is registered at a business park in Arlington Square.
According to official public records, the directors of the decades-old business have decided that the company should be “wound up voluntarily”.
An official notice of the decision was published on March 20 for the benefit of the company’s creditors, although it noted the notice was “purely formal”, as Arto Chemicals Ltd “is able to pay all its known creditors in full”.
Paul Cooper and Paul Appleton, both of BTG Begbies Traynor LLP, have been appointed to oversee the company’s voluntary liquidation.
