News just in but Bluesfest has not only cancelled their 2026 outing, but the company has been placed into liquidation because it cannot pay all of its debts.
According to Worrells Group, an email was sent out stating:
“Ticket holders, Parking pass customers, and Campers. On 12 March 2026 Bluesfest Enterprises Pty Ltd was placed into liquidation because it cannot pay all of its debts.”
On 12 March 2026 Bluesfest Enterprises Pty Ltd A.C.N. 674 992 440 (“the company”) was placed into liquidation with Jason Bettles of Worrells being appointed liquidator. The company has ceased trading its business and is not in a position to run the Byron Bay Bluesfest Festival.
