After 115 years, Brescia Calcio has been declared insolvent by the Brescia court, formally ending the 1911-founded club’s activities. According to L’Équipe, the ruling confirms the Lombardy side has ceased operations.
The club was stripped of professional status in summer 2025 and excluded from all national competitions. It was barred from the 2025-26 Serie C season after an administrative relegation at the end of the previous campaign.
Debts stood at close to €20m, and the court has now pronounced the club bankrupt.
