A Canberra Pilates studio has been reported to have been advertising end-of-financial-year (EOFY) sales days before it was placed into liquidation.
As reported by The Canberra Times, STRONG Pilates Braddon was placed into liquidation on 17th June, eight days after it had shared links to an end of EOFY sale on its Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The Canberra Times report advised that a long-term studio member had bought 30 Pilates classes from the franchised location as part of the end-of-financial-year sale advertised by the studio in early June.
She had used just one class when she received an email informing her the studio had entered liquidation, leaving her about $600 out of pocket.
