The Pirmasens-based footwear manufacturer Caprice has acquired Peter Kaiser, one of Europe’s oldest women’s shoe brands. The company was declared insolvent in 2020
Caprice, which is owned by the German group Wortmann Schuh-Holding KG, stated that it would retain the core of the brand, “which is based on excellent fit and high-quality materials”, but would update the collections and price them more attractively. This move will also enable Caprice to expand its offer range into the upper segment.
