Sydney-based print and mailing house Cojo Post has gone straight into liquidation, bypassing the administration stage.
According to the liquidator, the owner Rod Jones applied for creditor voluntary liquidation, the mechanism used by the shareholder when the company is deemed to be unable to pay its debts as they fall due.
The Chatswood building is shut, the phone lines ring out, and there is no sign of any staff.
Cojo was a mid-level mailing and fulfillment house, and claimed to be one of Sydney’s most comprehensive service providers. It had some 40 staff as it was liquidated. It was established in 1999 as a two-person operation by Tia Cooper and Rod Jones, who was with the company until the end.
