Pond Time Ltd, which traded as The Highland Drove in Great Salkeld, entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation after the pub closed earlier this summer.
The operators had warned in May that rising costs meant they could no longer see a way to make their plans for the pub work.
In a Facebook post on May 31, The Highland Drove Inn said: “Unfortunately it’s become clear over the last few months that our time at The Drove is coming to a close.
“Times are increasingly hard for pubs and with rising costs all around we can no longer see a way to make our vision for The Drove a reality anymore.”
