TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Costco customers in Florida and several other states were left with worthless pieces of plastic in their wallets after a gift card company went bankrupt.
California-based Synergy World announced last month that it was winding down operations and filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, according to a report from KUSI.
