David Sharaz is facing certain bankruptcy after being served a notice from former senator Linda Reynolds.
Mr Sharaz and his wife Brittany Higgins lost a defamation proceeding launched by Ms Reynolds in the WA Supreme Court over a series of social media posts that defamed the ex-politician.
NewsWire understands the new dad personally collected the bankruptcy notice and now wants to move on with his life after he was ordered to pay Ms Reynolds up to $242,471 in damages plus legal fees.
