A deadly gambling debt may have led to the bloody stabbing deaths of two men in the their 60s at a Chinatown senior citizen gathering place.
A trail of blood led from the scene, making authorities believe the attacker was hurt. Police Friday continued to search for the killer who was described as a man in his 30s.
According to reports from the scene, the killer first stabbed one man, then a second who tried to intervene, at the Hop Sing Tong Benevolent Association, a gathering place popular with senior citizens.
Investigators were looking into the possibility that the stabbings were related to a gambling debt dispute, according to reports from the scene.
