David James Higson, 48, of Holly Mount Way, was investigated by the Insolvency Service over his business dealings whilst running Fashion-Recruit Limited.
On July 2, 2020, the business, which was based in London, was not trading, but Higson applied for and obtained a Bounce Back Loan (BBL) of £50,000, which the business was not eligible for.
He did this by making false representations on the application form, and failed to ensure that BBL funds of at least £46,760 were used for the economic benefit of Fashion-Recruit Limited.
