The director of a roofing firm which collapsed owing its creditors almost £600,000 has been disqualified from running a company for seven years.
Lisburn-based EcosealNI Ltd went into liquidation in September 2023 with an estimated deficiency of £596,380.
The Department for the Economy said it accepted four disqualification undertakings from Neil Rainey (50), of Whitethorn Brae in Kinallen, Co Down, last month.
The allegations of unfit conduct, which were not disputed, included the use of almost £45,000 from a Covid-19 bounce back loan to benefit himself or a different business, rather than the company.
