Gracey Avenue sat on the city’s New Row for around two decades, but plummeting sales led owner Tracey Grayson to make a tough decision and close the doors for good.
She told the Press back in January: “We just can’t survive any longer, because the government is pushing us out and making it impossible for us to trade.
“National Insurance and wages are going up, the rates and price of the products are going up, and nobody has any money to spend.
“The footfall has been going down and down over the last six months, and the overheads are too much now.”
