The East Kilbride-based Valve Components Limited collapsed into administration in 2024 but has now entered liquidation after operating for nearly four decades, as first reported by The Herald.
At the time, Unite the Union accused the firm of “breaching the law” by not informing or consulting the workforce that they faced redundancy.
In early 2024, 119 jobs were lost after the firm fell into the hands of administrators, with 25 workers kept on to manage a “wind down” of the business‘s operations over a three-month period.
