An entire workforce including founding family members has been made redundant following the collapse of a Scottish distillery.
The failure of the award-winning gin producer came after a key investor pulled out, the liquidators said.
The Herald revealed that the Secret Garden Distillery Limited was placed into voluntary liquidation last week.
Now the liquidators at Opus Restructuring & Insolvency have revealed all 16 staff lost their jobs, and they also told of the circumstances leading up to the liquidation, which comes after the distillery celebrated being named UK Gin Producer of the Year 2025.
