Independent agency Espresso Communications has entered voluntary liquidation after two decades in business, with creditors owed more than $450,000.
The technology-focused PR agency entered liquidation on 9 July, seven months after Mumbrella revealed founder Corrie McLeod was scaling back the business and had ceased working with one of its major clients, IT company NetApp.
An initial creditors’ report, filed by liquidator Peter Moore of Jirsch Sutherland, shows Espresso Communications owes $452,000, with $396,776 — almost 88% of the total debt — owed to the ATO.
In addition, the agency owes $18,260 in rent to The Commons’ Martin Place coworking space and $16,000 to contractor Kennosuke Saito, who lists himself on Linkedin…
