Trevor Sinclair, who played nearly 100 times for Manchester City and made 12 caps for England, has been declared bankrupt after failing to pay a tax bill of more than £36,000
Former Manchester City star Trevor Sinclair has been declared bankrupt after accumulating a debt of over £36,000. The 52-year-old failed to settle taxes and penalties he owed.
The former pro’s debt was linked to punditry work carried out in the 2021/22 tax year. Despite being granted additional time to find a solution, Sinclair failed to appear in court on Thursday, having not managed to raise the funds or propose an alternative proposal.
