The founder of a failed options trading business has defended a series of complex corporate transactions that have left some of the group’s key assets outside the reach of its creditors.
Ivan Tchourilov placed his options trading platform Volatility into voluntary liquidation on August 10 after it was unable to repay debts. Creditors are trying to claw back more than $450,000 in the liquidation, but found Volatility’s Small Caps website domain name is no longer owned by the company.
