Tullibardine Smiddy – based at Strathallan Airfield in Auchterarder, Perth and Kinross – has passed a resolution for the firm to be wound up.
It is not clear how many staff were employed at the business and will lose their jobs.
George Lafferty of Begbies Traynor was appointed as a liquidator earlier this month, according to The Herald.
Tullibardine Smiddy repairs fabricated metal products and was also involved in the wholesale of farming machinery, equipment and supplies.
The company has been described as being in a “members’ and creditors” liquidation.
