French pulp manufacturer Fibre Excellence filed for insolvency with the commercial court of Toulouse on 13 April and is facing potential receivership proceedings. The conciliation period with the government expired on 14 April and has not yet yielded a solution for the financially stricken company. Due to its strained liquidity situation, the company had therefore been obliged to file for insolvency, Fibre Excellence explained in a statement.
