Responding to Elon Musk on Twitter can be very risky. Theway you respond to either criticism or praise–in general–says a lot about you. The way you respond when it comes from a billionaire known for his sometimes controversial but always lively Twitter feed can be dangerous.
If only every leader could take the approach that Ford’s CEO, Jim Farley did on Friday. It just might be the best example of emotional intelligence I’ve ever seen, and it only took that one simple word.
