Hassan Nawaz, son of former prime minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, has been declared a tax defaulter by the UK government.
According to the latest list published on the UK government’s official website, Hassan Nawaz failed to pay £9.4 million in taxes between April 5, 2015, and April 6, 2016.
British tax authorities have not only disclosed details of his outstanding tax liabilities but have also imposed a £5.2 million fine, which is mentioned on the official website.
In November last year, the London High Court of Justice declared Hassan Nawaz bankrupt after he failed to settle his tax obligations.
