A long-standing business which has served the area for more than six decades has entered liquidation, it confirmed tonight.
Heavers of Bridport, a family-run business, has been opening for 65 years but will pause all pending customer contracts from tomorrow, it said.
It cites ‘many mounting pressures’, including supply issues, significant rises of utilities, business rates and insurances, and delays in receiving settlement for completed contracts along the reasons, along with a reduction in sales in recent months amid the cost of living crisis.
