A notice published in The Gazette – the UK’s official site where notices of insolvencies are shared publicly – confirms that Tings n Wings has entered voluntary liquidation.
This means that the company, which has a registered office in Welwyn Garden City, will wind down operations while its assets are sold to help repay creditors.
The business, which sold fried chicken and fries, began trading in 2021, before expanding over the years to three takeaway restaurants – in Hatfield Road in St Albans, Broadwater Crescent in Stevenage, and Clacton’s High Street.
The business was “focused on dedication to quality above all else”, according to the Tings n Wings website.
