Hertfordshire festival Standon Calling to end as company enters liquidation · News ⟋ RA

The festival, which hosted its most recent edition in 2023, was established in 2006.
The company behind Hertfordshire festival Standon Calling has entered liquidation, spelling the end for the annual two-day event after nearly 20 years.

In an online statement shared last week, organisers confirmed that the most recent edition of Standon Calling, held in 2023, “will now prove to have been the last.” The post noted “significant financial losses” incurred in 2022 and 2023. Last year, some vendors and performers who had worked the 2023 edition alleged the festival did not pay them for their labor.
