James Packer will return as director of Crown Resorts, ending a one-year absence from the board that coincided with a horror run for the casino and gambling giant.
Mr Packer, who resigned as director of Crown at the end of 2015, owns 48 per cent of the company through his private investment vehicle, Consolidated Press Holdings (CPH), which nominated him to return to the position.
