MOSCOW, September 22 (RAPSI) The Commercial Court of North-West District has set November 7 as the date for considering an appeal lodged by ex-CEO of JFC Group Vladimir Kekhman against a lower courts refusal to recognize his bankruptcy, declared by the High Court of London, valid in Russia, according to court records.
On August 3, the St. Petersburg Commercial Court ruled that Kekhman had not provided sufficient evidence of the London courts ruling coming into force in accordance with the Commercial Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. In addition there is no evidence of London court recognizing rulings of Russian courts declaring Kekhman bankrupt on territory of Russia.
