The Central Government has appointed Justice (Retd) Yogesh Khanna, former Judge of the Delhi High Court and Judicial Member of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), as the officiating Chairperson of the appellate tribunal.
He will head the NCLAT following the completion of the tenure of Justice (Retd) Ashok Bhushan on July 4, 2026, and will discharge the functions of the office until a regular Chairperson is appointed.
The appointment was notified through a Gazette Notification dated July 8, 2026, by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) under Rule 7 of the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021. Justice Khanna will hold charge with effect from July 5, 2026,…
