KJ Parker Ltd has gone into voluntary liquidation, leaving 70 creditors across the UK fearing they will never receive the money they are due.
Based at the Orion Business Centre in Wide Lane, KJ Parker owes various sums to a raft of other companies.
It comes after new figures showed that activity in the UK housebuilding sector has fallen at its fastest rate so far this year following earlier contractions in 2025.
The National Federation of Builders says reasons for the downturn include rising costs, the sluggish economy, and new taxes.
