One of Princess Kate’s “go-to” designer Tabitha Designs Ltd, established by designer Tabitha Webb in 2013, has entered voluntary liquidation after accumulating debts totalling £700,000, just days after another of the royal’s favoured designers went into administration.
The company, which became a favourite of the Princess of Wales and numerous television personalities, owes £50,000 in unpaid taxes to HMRC.
Kate has been a devoted wearer of Webb’s designs for many years, frequently choosing her colourful creations for official engagements.
The 50-year-old designer built her reputation on vibrant silk and cashmere pieces over more than a decade in the industry.
