The immersive experience company behind the Elvis Evolution and Jeff Wayne’s War of the World’s shows went into liquidation with £20m of debts, according to documents filed at Companies House last month.
Ellipsis Entertainment, which traded as Layered Reality, had bought the global rights to an Elvis experience and was hoping that Elvis Evolution would match the success of immersive music shows such as Abba Voyage, before the company’s collapse.
Elvis Evolution opened to very mixed reviews last summer, before the company ceased trading in April this year.
