Brunel Law School has appointed two new high-profile academics to teach the universitys portfolio of corporate law courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Emeritus Professor of Corporate Law at the University of Oxford, Professor Dan Prentice, and the chair of the company law committee of the Council of the Bars and Law Societies of the European Union (CCBE), Vanessa Knapp OBE, will teach from this term.
Previously holding the Allen & Overy Professorship of Corporate Law at Oxford, and becoming the first chair in corporate law in the UK, Prof Prentice is the author of various books and articles on company law and corporate insolvency. He will take up the role of Honorary Professor of Law at Brunel Law School.
